Most collection cups ship with a 24 mm flange, and a large share of mothers measure smaller than that. This original 20 mm insert drops into the E-Shine New Cup and E-Joy S2 flange to close the gap, so the tunnel grips where it should and the milk goes where it should.
A tunnel that is even a few millimeters too wide pulls areola tissue in with every cycle, which hurts, chafes and quietly reduces output. Sizing down to a snug 20 mm keeps the motion on the nipple alone, which is how pumping is designed to work.
This is the original Phanpy part, moulded to the exact flange geometry of the E-Shine New Cup and E-Joy S2. It seats flush without ridges or wobble, so the seal you get is the seal the pump was engineered around.
The insert is food-grade silicone with a skin-smooth finish. It flexes with the breast during letdown instead of digging in, and it carries no BPA anywhere near your milk.
Slide the insert into the flange, assemble the cup as usual and run a normal session. If the nipple moves freely without dragging the areola along, the size is right — most mothers know within the first few minutes.
